Africa Group-wide Implementation of Procurement, Cost & General Ledger solution for a leading International Banking Group

In-Country Delivery Accountability (Phase 1)

Approximately $150 million of spend across Africa in the Bank’s footprint was non-compliant and existing systems and processes were inadequate. The objective was to enable 1) consistent processes across all countries; 2) Seamless integration into each system; and 3) consolidated reporting across the portfolio. 

The implementation resulted in a year-on-year decrease of 147% in operational cost reduction whereby the systems and processes upgraded allowed for the identification and capturing of this spend to ensure that cost savings through the adoption of purchasing agreements and discounts materialized.

Overall accountability of the SAP ERP and SRM system implementation at a leading Media & Entertainment Group

The goal of this project was to standardize, centralize and consolidate systems and processes were applicable to improve, streamline and implement more efficient processes within the company and the larger Media Group. Principal to this implementation was the centralization of the Accounts Payable operations. The improvement of automated processing capabilities resulted in reduction of the payment cycle time from 2 days to 0.5 days (centralized) based on actual measurements performed. 

Another outcome was the reduction of the average processing cost per invoice of $5.00 compared to an average of $7.02 among other benchmarked organizations. This was a median estimate measurement used according to the American Productivity and Quality Center (APQC) Research.

Fleet Operations Outsourcing Project for a leading International Automotive Group

The objective was set to select a Fleet Operations Service Provider that could demonstrate an excellent understanding of the overall International Automotive Group and which could deliver an effective and workable Fleet Operation and Internal Sales service.

The realised project benefits of the outsourced Fleet Operations resulted in a streamlined operation totalling $1.4 million with the following attributes:
